At the annual meeting of the German Friends of Neve Shalom - Wahat al-Salam, in October 2007, NSWAS member Dr. Nihaya Daoud gave a presentation entitled "Envisioning the Future
of Arab-Jewish relations in Israel".

This year’s meeting was held in Koenigswinter over two and a half days, and was attended by more than sixty people.
Besides Nihaya, NSWAS member Hilal Rizek was also present and contributed an additional point of view of a member of the second generation in the village.
