The village and the website provide many resources for those who want to learn in depth about the unique experience of Wahat al-Salam Neve Shalom as an intentional Jewish-Palestinian community, as well as the experience gathered over many years of conducting educational work in the field.
"The place that stuck with me the most is Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam (The Oasis of Peace), a cooperative village of Jewish and Palestinian-Arab citizens of Israel," said Shuman. "Visiting and talking with the residents of this village gave me hope that reconciliation and peace are possible."
Eric Shuman, a Fulbright Research Student, writing after his visit to the village and the region.
