Annual Report 2019

Dear Friends,

Humanity is facing challenging times. The green of spring surrounds the village as flowers bloom and we are confined to our homes. The corona pandemic has taught us to value and embrace the small things: the nature around us, our concerned neighbors, our ability to move around, our health and our lives. We have all learned that our destiny is tied one to the other and that "the virus" doesn’t differentiate between us.

The Wahat al Salam-Neve Shalom community stands together, united more than ever, Jews and Arabs, new members of the community and old, men and women, young and old from the kids in our nursery to Anne, one of our founders who is 90+ years old.

I am pleased to be sending you the annual report of the educational institutions of the village where we have summarized a year filled with activities, growth, development, hope and our dreams for the future. We thank you and send our blessings to you and your families who support and accompany us in all of our educational endeavours working to advance peace and equality.

Today more than ever it is clear how fortunate and lucky we are to have you as our friends and partners.

All of us here wish you, your families and all of your loved ones much health, happiness and meaning in life. With the holidays upon us: Passover, Easter and Ramadan we wish you a happy and healthy holiday.
