Acquaintance Day at the Primary School

Every year the Primary School stages an “Acquaintance Day” for parents who are interested in registering their children for the next school year. The occasion was held this year on Friday, January 31, and was attended by many parents and children. Some were complete newcomers, whereas others already had children in the school or kindergarten. Due to the priority given for children who are graduating from the kindergarten or who have siblings in the school, there remain just a limited number of openings for the next school year.

Those children who do enroll will enjoy a multicultural bilingual learning environment that is rich in other ways too. The school uses to advantage its beautiful natural setting, teaching nature studies and environmental responsibility. Its multicultural features contribute to learning activities that include art, photography, music, singing, dance and sports. The system places an emphasis on personal development, respect for diversity, democratic values and critical thinking skills, as well as a friendly and supportive relationship with teachers. The core faculty have remained with the school for many years. Even for the teachers, the school is a place of continual learning and enrichment.

As we move into a period of spring holidays, beginning with Tubishvat/Eid Ishajara and the Purim holiday, we are already looking forward to the 2020-2021 school year.
