The art gallery organizes exhibitions and programs, with the participation of Palestinian and Jewish artists.
One of the newest projects of the village is the art gallery and sculpture garden. The concept has gradually evolved (read description) with the help of the financial and moral support from friends in the country and from around the world. The project is managed under the framework of the Pluralistic Spiritual Community Center and the association of educational institutions.
The gallery represents an alternative vision that reflects the concept of the village and thinking beyond differences and conflicts, to develop a common human identity and the concept of peace.
The gallery is located on the ground floor of the Peace Library Building, including the surrounding space.
The target audience is local and international groups and individuals of all ages - children, youth and adults.
The gallery presents themed exhibitions which are advertized on the web site. The gallery can be opened upon request, but please contact us in advance in order to coordinate your visit.
The Gallery Courtyard
The artworks displayed in the gallery’s courtyard continue to delight guests and give them a first taste of the art gallery. The courtyard successfully conveys our artistic vision and purpose, so we hope to add more artworks to it in the future.
Rabia Qadi Barhoum, a new resident in the village, has already given some hours to create a mosaic around the gallery’s side door; she will continue working on it soon:

On Sunday Feb. 10, the Gallery opened an exhibition of the artwork of Hagar Edlund, who grew up in the community and was living here at the time of her early death in 2004.
On the day she was honored with an award by WAS-NS, Sr. Aziza visited the Violence against Women exhibit, where she found a painting of someone she had known before her death.
Violence Against Women is the fifth exhibition to take place at the Oasis Art Gallery. May violence end in all its forms, including the murder of women.
In yet another workshop of our "Artists Hosting Artists" series, Palestinian and Jewish artists gathered from around the country with our hosting artist, Dorit Bat Shalom.
