International World Peace Rose Gardens Display Primary School Artists
Wednesday 22 May 2013, by

On the 10th Anniversary of California’s State Capitol, Sacramento, the World Peace Rose Gardens held a celebration ceremony featuring many cultures and faiths. One of the featured displays was the work of our little artists from the primary school. Only six paintings were picked for the “World Peace Begins with Me” Art program, however, many were featured at the ceremony, along side a brief write up on the village.
The International World Peace Rose Gardens is a nonprofit organization that creates rose gardens of peace on public sites all around the world. The gardens become a center for gathering where the public can hold peace activities and ceremonies.
Their mission:
To advance peace and understanding amongst all the nations, cultures and religions of the world through the creation of rose gardens that become centers for youth and community activities.
