Quartet from Philadelphia Orchestra visit

Udi Bar David, an old friend, who has performed many times both in and for the village, is an internationally renowned musician attached to the Philadelphia Orchestra. He is also the founder and driving force of two important organizations for dialogue and intercultural tolerance through art: Intercultural Journeys and more recently ARTolerance. This year he organized the visit as part of a quartet, under the musical direction of conductor Yannick Nezet Seguin.

Carmella, the School Principal and Rita Boulos spoke for the village, while the conductor, Yannick addressed the students.

The music opened with a piece played masterfully by members of the primary school orchestra, directed by Haim, the primary school’s music teacher. and the quartet held the children’s and adults rapt interest with a wonderful performance. We feel so privileged!
