School reopens

Back to school! - partly. Today, after two months of being at home, some of the children were finally allowed to return to school. In accord with the education ministry’s program for gradual reopening, we were able to open the school gates to students in grades 1 - 3. The conditions are quite strict: division into small groups and attention to social distancing and hygiene. On the first day, about half of the eligible children arrived.

Despite the worry, the uncertainty and the long shadow of the Coronavirus, both children and teachers were visibly excited and happy. There were no hugs of course, but beneath the masks there were lots of smiles.
