On March 8 (International Women’s Day), WAS-NS member Samah Salaime arranged a gathering in the village auditorium. The evening featured singing by Mira A’azar, storytelling by Danis Asa’d, a film showing, sale of traditional Palestinian embroidery and a festive meal.
