Eid Mubarak!

During the holy month of Ramadan, it’s a Wahat al-Salam - Neve Shalom tradition to organize community iftar meals to break the daily fast. At the end of our most recent one, the women got together at the spiritual center to make traditional holiday cookies. These were then packed as gifts by the children of the Nadi youth club. Some of the Nadi kids took these today to Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem to present to Palestinian children hospitalized there, to sweeten their Eid al-Fiter holiday, which they will be spending far away from their families.

We wish children everywhere a wonderful Eid Sa’id!
ضمن نشاطات واحة السلام في رمضان، أعدت نساء القرية كعك العيد بعد أمسية رمضانيه مشتركة في المركز الروحاني ، اولاد وبنات نادي الشبيبة حضروا سلات حلويات جميلة. وصلنا اليوم لمستشفى هداسا وزرنا الأطفال الفلسطينيين الذين سيقضون العيد بعيدا عن بيوتهم.
نتمنى لكل اطفال العالم الصحة والسعادة وكل عام وأنتم بخير
במסגרת הפעילות שלנו ברמדאן, נשות ואחאת אל סאלם נווה שלום הכינו בתום ארוחת שבירת הצום הקהילתית במרכז הרוחני של הכפר עוגיות חג מסורתיות וילדי הנאדי ארזו חבילות שי מיוחדות. נסענו היום עם נציגי הילדים לבי’ח הדסה בירושלים כדי לבקר ולשמח ילדים פלסטינים מאושפזים שרחוקים מהבית במהלך החג.
