Garden for Franca Ciccolo

A garden for our long-time friend in Italy, Franca Ciccolo, who died in 2014, was inaugurated in the village. The garden, which has been marked by a simple plaque, is between the volunteer house and the small path that leads down to the Corner of Silence, which was one of Franca’s favourite spots in the village. A number of WAS-NS residents recalled their friendship with Franca and her years of dedicated service to the Village.
