Passing of Anne Le Meignen, village co-founder

With great sadness and deep sorrow we announce the passing of Anne Le Meignen.

Anne was from the founding generation of Wahat al-Salam - Neve Shalom, working closely with Fr. Bruno Hussar, who conceived and founded the village. For more than four decades, she worked with determination and tireless faith in order that the idea of the village would succeed. She worked to promote its success in every possible way. In fact, all throughout the years, the village was and remained her whole life. She was interested in every detail and every new family that arrived.

She believed in peace and equality and did so much for Wahat al-Salam Neve Shalom’s educational institutions.
