Sharing Peace Internationally

Many groups from all around the world come in a spirit of friendship and support; some come bearing gifts. On August 15th, Wahat al Salam – Neve Shalom had a pleasant visit from a group of Italians on a pilgrimage to Israel. Rita Boulos received the group of 16 on a guided tour of the village where she was presented with a folder full of vibrant and colorful peace themed pictures from the Pernici Primary School in Riva del Garda, Trento, Italy; A long time supporter of our primary school here at Wahat al Salam – Neve Shalom.

We’d like to express a special thank you to classes 3A, 3B, 3C, 4A, 4B, and 4C for the wonderful works of art, the Pernici Primary for their annual support of our primary school and the group for taking time to visit our village. Below are a few of the many wonderful pictures presented.
