WAS-NS takes part in mass rally in Tel Aviv

On February 4, thousands of Arabs and Jews demonstrated in Tel Aviv against racism and incitement against the Palestinian Arab population in Israel. The protest, which was organized by a large number of peace and social change organizations including Wahat al-Salam - Neve Shalom, focused on the government policy of housing demolitions enacted lately in Qalansawe and Umm al-Hiran, and the recent spate of racist expressions by government ministers and officials. Among those marching were representatives of Wahat al-Salam - Neve Shalom and dozens of graduates of School for Peace change agents courses.

Graduates of the School for Peace and the Arab Center for Alternative Planning carried a sign in the name of the Arab-Jewish forum for planning that they have established. The sign calls for an end to racism and incitement.
