International Rescuers Award 2018

At midday on March 6, 2018 (which is the annual date of the European Day of the Righteous), we were honored to present this year’s International Rescuers Award to Dr. Alganesc Fesseha for her work and her struggle against human trafficking, kidnapping, torture and rape of African refugees.

Dr. Fesseha was accompanied to Israel by Ms. Martina Landi of the GARIWO organization, Italy.

In addition, the award was given to Palestinians who saved Jews in Hebron, during the 1929 massacre.

Dr. Fesseha, Ms. Landi and Prof. Yair Auron were among the speakers.
