The Spiritual Center’s celebration of Christmas and Chanukah

On Monday, December 18, 2017, we met in the White Dove hall to celebrate Chanukah and Christmas.

Boaz Kitain lit the seventh candle for Chanukah and spoke about the origins of the holiday and its current context. Then two of our guests, Fr. Paul of the Latrun Abbey and Sister Miriam of the Monastery of Emmaus, were invited to say a few words.

After eating potato pancakes (latkes / levivot) according to the custom of Hanukkah, we enjoyed a concert, "Light in the Darkness", by the New Life Community Marian Ecumenical Choir.

At the end of this charming, bright and festive evening, the entire audience joined in the singing.
