Although they are presented together here, it should be understood that these projects are quite different in terms of their size and allocated resources, while the Humanitarian aid program is conducted on a voluntary basis as an initiative of WAS-NS members.

Despite it all: Sulha – Jews & Palestinians meet at the PSCC

On August 21-22, despite the sounds of missiles and bombs that could be heard from the hills of Wahat al-Salam – Neve Shalom, 80 Jews and Arabs; young families with children, youth and older individuals from Israel and Palestine met at the Sulha monthly meeting.
This time, the meeting lasted two days, combining music, workshops on shared communication and dialogue circles. Jewish and Arab participants came from all over Israel, East Jerusalem, and Palestine as well as from the WAS-NS (...)

Healthy Kids = Healthy School!

Pupils at our Primary School were taken out of their usual routine, and classrooms, yesterday for Health Day activities. In order to make the children more aware about a variety of health issues, the school invited parents who work in health-related professions to come and give talks to the children. Each class went through a rotation of 5 half-hour talks, moving on to a different classroom for each talk.

SFP awarded $50 K grant by Journalists and Writers Foundation (Turkey)

The SFP has won a $50,000 grant from [Journalists and Writers Foundation (JWF)] in Turkey, towards a joint project with Ramallah based Tawasul for teaching literature teachers.

Update on the Peace Library
