Although they are presented together here, it should be understood that these projects are quite different in terms of their size and allocated resources, while the Humanitarian aid program is conducted on a voluntary basis as an initiative of WAS-NS members.

Eighteen 6th graders graduated from the Primary School tonight. To celebrate the event they put on a play, to which everyone was invited, including alumni from previous years.

Primary School Presents Language Days

As the year begins to wrap up at Neve Shalom Wahat al Salam Primary School, the children participate in a three day language appreciation program. The first day focused on Hebrew, the second on English, and the third on Arabic.

PSC hosts Jo Berry and Pat Magee of the "Forgiveness Project"

The Pluralistic Spiritual Center frequently hosts meetings of the Sulha Organization (http://sulha.com), which PSC director Dafna Karta Schwartz has also been involved. On Thursday March 11, one such meeting brought together some 60 young Jews and Arabs from Israel and Palestine in a special gathering that opened the hearts and minds of the participants. Peace Brush Activity at the Primary School

On June 14, as a response to the hate slogans and vandalism that took place a week ago, the School organized the "Peace Brush" happening, which included painting of graffiti, drawings and messages of coexistence, drawn by children, teachers and parents. The afternoon also included a musical event on the school lawn and soccer together with Arab and Jewish children from Jerusalem.
